The basics

Contractor Role | Part Time | Flexible workplace | Work from home

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Deliver training to new and experienced participants.
  • Assess and identify individual training and development (T&D) needs through communication with participants, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate comprehensive training schedule with multiple customers in varying time zones.
  • Serve as primary contact for T&D participants.
  • Follow suggested curriculum for T&D sessions and improvise when needed.
  • Create and/or acquire training manuals, guides, or materials when needed.
  • Manage training logistics and establish an effective training environment.
  • Maintain clear records and reports of training and development activities and assessments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest software updates.
  • Keep track of the latest updates to customer accounts and current customer contracts.
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with participants, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate follow-up activities, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement of training program.
  • Assist Project teams with implementation training when required.

About you

We are looking for a individual who has:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work well in a remote team environment.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate customers in various time zones.
  • Willing to seek out information, ask questions, and be naturally inquisitive.
  • Able to adapt to a shifting landscape in a fast-paced environment and travel as required.
  • Excellent time management skills, fast learner and with the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Self-motivated, have an ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and manage priorities within company requirements.

Education and Experience

Experience is key in the remote work environment

  • Minimum 2 years training/facilitation experience.
  • Experience in education or adult learning is an asset.
  • University degree advantageous.
  • Software experience advantageous.
