About the role

In this role you will:

  • Leverage our existing database to identify and engage potential clients within the Canadian government sector.
  • Implement a multi-channel approach to outbound outreach, including cold calling, personalized emails, and social media engagement, to generate new leads
  • Qualify leads using predefined criteria and conduct initial needs assessments to determine fit and readiness.
  • Build and maintain relationships through regular follow-ups and personalized communication, tracking engagement in our CRM system
  • Plan and schedule product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of qualified leads.
  • Conduct interactive and effective demonstrations, showcasing the key features and benefits of our solutions
  • Follow up promptly after demos, gather feedback, and track engagement through our CRM.
  • Manage CRM entries and updates, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect and customer interactions.
  • Document all sales activities, including meetings, calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring they are professionally formatted and timely delivered.
  • Identify and attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences in Sales Territory
  • Coordinate logistics, prepare tailored presentations, and engage with attendees to generate leads
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups, debriefs, and provide attendee marketing lists to the marketing team.

About you

We are looking for a individual who has:

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise applications.
  • A strong drive to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions and write persuasive messages.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • A tech-savvy individual with a deep understanding of the needs of government entities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing the sales pipeline and documenting interactions.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, events, and conferences
  • Ability to adapt to a shifting landscape and provide proactive solutions to sales process challenges.
